Variation in Ibero-Romance (VarIbero)

Variation in Ibero-Romance (VarIbero) is the group of Ibero-Romance linguistics at the University of Zurich, which has a strong focus on researching diatopic and diachronic variation and on the combination of traditional and innovative methodologies (spoken corpora, experimental data collection, Twitter data). Specifically, it contributes to the network with its experience collaborating in the projects COSER (‘Spoken and Audible Corpus of Rural Spanish’; see groups of Autonomous University of Madrid and UGent), ProVaIn (Projecting Internet Linguistic Variation) and the project Experimental Morphosyntax of Romance Languages, and Spanish Dialects App (Dialectos del español, with DiaLing).
