REEDS: a scientific research network on dialect syntax

REEDS (Re-examining dialect syntax) is an FWO-funded scientific research network which brings together 17 universities and research centers in Europe and the US. Their shared goal is to investigate syntactic variation in non-standard language varieties, and to do so from a multi-disciplinary perspective that incorporates insights from sociolinguistics, quantitative linguistics, and formal syntax. This website serves as the central hub of the network: it contains a description of the goals of the project, it introduces the various partners that make up the network, and it lists upcoming events and activities.
